How Much is China Giving to Latin America?

China and CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) are currently working on a cooperation plan that will touch on areas of finance, energy, infrastructure, natural resources, industry and investment among others, with a total of 13 areas of cooperation. President Xi marked the importance of this alliance since together, China and Latin America represent a fifth of total land surface, a third of the world’s population and an eighth of the global economy.

Here we present a summary of recent agreements between CELAC and China in addition to bilateral agreements.
